In today’s fast-paced and complex world, many of us feel overwhelmed and increasingly disconnected – from our loved ones, our roots, and even from ourselves.
My name is Luiza, and I am one of these people.

I was born in Romania and have been living in the UK for nearly two decades. I’ve experienced loneliness for much of my life. Perhaps it had something to do with how I was raised, the life choices I made, or maybe it was my “too sensitive” nature. Whatever the reason, it stirred a deep desire in me to understand what it truly means to live in this world as a human being – and that became the beginning of a long, ongoing journey of self-discovery.

I have walked many paths in search of healing and understanding: personal therapy, spiritual and meditative practices, expressive and mindful art, research, and eventually becoming a therapist myself. Through all these experiences, one truth has become clear to me – that meaningful human connection is essential to our wellbeing. And this is something I want to share with others.

From this place, Mindful Loneliness was born – a space created to honour this complex and often painful emotion. A space where loneliness can be heard, felt, and accepted in all its richness – and perhaps even recognised as a path to deeper connection.

I hope this space offers something that speaks to your own experience. You’re warmly invited to walk alongside me – to share, reflect, and learn from one another as we each navigate the quiet, meaningful path of being human.
